I began studying web design way back in 2004 when I finally realized that I needed a website for my photography business: Custom Image Sonoma. I was not sure exactly what I wanted, but I knew that my website would be an evolving work in progress, always growing and changing. Having approached web design & development from the perspective of a small business owner has given me great insight into the needs of my clients. Not only does every client deserve & expect great work, they need it to be affordable as well. My clients need me to be available on short notice for updates & changes. I understand these things because this is what I myself need. Just having a site up on the web is not enough, you need people to find you, come to your site and purchase your product or service. Through my efforts to improve search engine ranking for my own & clients websites I have become an expert in search engine optimization & social media. I continue to study and learn more about web design, web graphics & interactive digital media every day.
